The hiring of Pierre and it's ramifications especially in light of better alternatives is definitely within the scope and spirit of the thread topic and well within the common norm here of acceptable topic deviation.

This thread maybe but you have consistently derailed threads, e.g. the Vanover thread. It's a free country so do as you please but you are basically a message board troll IMO. Some folks thrive on trolling and it's alright. Just not my cup of tea.

Since you mentioned the Vanover thread in your last two posts in this thread, let's discuss it here. Many of the posts in the Vanover thread relate to posters chastising other posters for their ideas - sometimes in personal terms like you did in your above posts. Personal attacks,IMO, are the worse form of OT discussion. They add heat, but no light. Nevertheless, please post as you please. I am not your censure.
