No, only if he is one of the top 3 assistants. His position, which is Director of Player Personnel, doesn't qualify.
Oh ok, I get it. If he were an assistant it would offset and max out at 400k. As a non-assistant he gets the full 400k plus whatever he can get paid as a non-assistant.

OK, but Mark's article stated: Pierre was also due $410,000 from North Carolina State because he had another year remaining on his contract after former coach Mark Gottfried’s firing following last season. North Carolina State must pay the difference between his current salary at Memphis and the money he is owed. . If I read it right, based on the article, Pierre does not get the full $410K from NC St for his AC positionplus his salary at Memphis from his current position.

He gets his full salary from NC State plus his salary here because he isn't considered an assistant. He has an administrative role. Saul has his spot.
