Looks like ACC will fill their spot in the Detroit Bowl with Florida St, Duke or Virginia. Bog Ten looks to be 1 or 2 bowl teams short this year for their smaller Texas bowl tie in and the Detroit Bowl, depends on if they send a team to the corporate playoff payoff thing. MAC probably puts a team in Detroit as we are the primary backup, but i don't think a MAC champ has ever maneuver into that game since it changed from the original MAC Champ-BIG10 matchup.

Ohio in Bahamas

Expect NIU in Boise (or maybe Camella) vs loser of Fresno-Boise MWC title game (yeah, they play again 2 weeks in a row), although I think NIU's defense vs Troy's run game would be a good battle in Mobile.

This year most leagues can fill their bowl slots so not much wiggle room and some 6-6 teams and possibly a couple 7-5 will stay home. I could see Akron missing a bowl at 7-6.

I would love a Toledo/Florida State matchup in Detroit... Granted, not much of a destination, but more respect would be garnered nationally by knocking off a perennial power like FSU over beating a Sun Belt team ...
