Lol. What argument? That Kalu should only plan on playing at the 5 for all but a few possible minutes that he might occasionally play at the 4 along side of Dickins? Those were your opinions.

We will see Kalu play the 4 in future years. You can count on that unless injuries to our centers force him to play the middle.

Kalu will likely play a few mins at the 4 in the future, but probably not 20’mins a game.

I'm surprised to see that people think Kalu can't defend the 4. I think he's a VERY good athlete. He's tall enough, strong enough, quick enough, and springy enough to guard both the 4 and 5, IMO. We pulled off lineups last year with Stith at the 4 and he was WAAAAAY more limited than Kalu.

You make a good point tmac. The comparison some make to Brandon playing the 4 vs Ezikpe is not a fair comparison. Brandon Stith had a good career with us and I loved his play but he was an undersized center. He devoted a decent 10 foot jumper but he was a center from the start. Ezikpe has the quickness and shooting touch to stretch a defense away from the basket. As Jones said, he is just scratching the surface.
