Speaking of batting... we need to make a change in baseball, but when we hired Butler, he was the obvious choice. It turned out to be a bum hire and fans complain about the size of his guaranteed contract, but a coaching prospect like Butler wouldn't have come to WSU following the firing of the winningest coach in NCAA history without job security. He gets one more year, then we have another shot at hiring a coach worthy of the program's tradition.

How do think the baseball team will be this year?

Shocker fans have become widely pessimistic about baseball. Our program has dug its heels into the pooper.
