Sounds like a good idea. The Summit should look into GCU & NMSU as Arizona and New Mexico State are adjacent to the footprint. NMSU is a FBS school which helps to further the Summit to FBS dream someday.

GCU and NMSU have vastly different goals. GCU wants to extend it's brand, so a conference with many people in its footprint is ideal. Not the Summit. NMSU needs an FBS ready conference and preferable one that includes Texas schools now. Not the Summit.
