Just playing devil's advocate: how much lower would the field need to be in order to expand the stands over where the track is now? Ten feet?

There are streams as shallow as 4-5 feet under KBS. Stand by one of the drainage areas and you can hear water running. One stream comes out of the hill just to the left of the West Stands and runs completely under the field. It is all piped down to the Duck Pond. The main reason artificial turf was put down is because the field in old Conrad Stadium stayed wet & soggy. If it rained at all the place turned into a swamp.

Hmmmmm...I wonder if we could bottle that water and sell it. We'd make millions.
