It had nothing to do with a plan ... it was just to address the risk that the Big Sky was no longer the attractive conference that Idaho thought it was going to be for any reason. An emergency clause.

Furthermore, if Idaho president doesn't care about being successful in FBS, I don't think he'll care about being successful in the Big Sky.
