CBS isn't paying a crap ton of money to the SEC for the risk that in 2019 they are televising LaTech vs. UAB instead of Bama vs. LSU.

Others certainly are paying for the EPL. The big six in the EPL never changes but the back 6 rotates regularly. The same would happen here. Tech wouldn't replace LSU it would replace Ole Miss or Vanderbilt. (Example)
