They reward loyalty points for prior season tickets. But to want them to reward season tickets for loyalty and loyalty alone? Hogwash. If I give more than you and attain more points, I deserve the better seats. It's pretty simple.

Promotions? What, like the Baze bobble head they gave out? Or the emails I get every few weeks telling me ODU gear is on sale?

And they show their appreciation in different ways. In my 3 years of giving (17-18 will be year 4) since graduation, I have been hosted each bball season in their suites. You also get the personal touch with an athlete, who you've directly helped support, call to thank you each semester. To me that's much better than some dumb shirt. I'm sure others on here have their own reward stories.

And stickers? They've been sending those things in the mail for years. I have 3 on my cooler right now.

House flags? Theyre like $14. Go to Taylor's and buy one. That's the last thing I want them spending my donation on. I want it to go towards facilities, the best staff they can get, recruiting expenses and the athlete's education.

You want to spend less, change your donation and live with the results. Or forgo it all together and say buh bye to all the ODAF perks that aren't good enough for you.
