You seem to want to forget that we had to have a dealership last year purchase over 500 tickets as give always to get people to come and we still barely were able to supposedly sell out. Our waiting list has vanished in thin air. My point is we seem to be resting on our laurels, not aggressively marketing, not build pride throughout the region regarding ODU, and not doing enough to cater to the current ODAF members. Our initial momentum has been lost. Keep thinking the way you do.....

In the first post, you didn't even mention marketing. You put all the blame on alums. In the second, you change the aim entirely to where it belongs; marketing. We do need to be growing the fanbase and the pride in the program. And I hope we don't need Priority to come in and buy tickets again. But your first post sucked at conveying that message.

They are all related ! But it all starts with students being prideful of their University while they attend and as alums. This is another aspect that I think the University does not do enough to cultivate. I see other universities having class reunions all the time to keep Alums engaged, connected, and giving. I have never gotten an invitation to a class reunion. Maybe I just missed them.
