We all know KB was not a great coach at all and left the program in bad shape. I would argue that all of the players leaving was more of a statement of how highly they thought of KB. KB genuinely seems like a good person and she can recruit, but it does seem like McCray is a better candidate. I don't follow the womens game as much, but it seems if KB can find a strong bench coach, she may do ok at UNC-W. Seems her flaws are more in game stuff versus getting recruits in.

I know, it is more the magnitude of the departures that get me. I do follow the women's game. KB had a decent bench coach in Corrigan. It appeared that she either wouldn't listen or didn't get it. Time and time again basic basketball solutions would be ignored and not used. You could have John Wooden or Pat Summit sitting next to you and if you won't listen or don't understand the concepts you will fail.

Karen's game plan will to always have one big scorer who takes half the teams shots
and a cast of 5 point co players who never get the opportunity or coaching to ever be more. I agree, I really dont think she listened to any of her assistant coaches when it cane to X and O strategies.
