You are correct, but I would submit that great people rarely leave an organizations i this type of shape.

She has no control on what players want to do after she leaves. Players commit to a coach more than anything.

As you can tell I am not a big fan of hers and I get kids are going to do what they are going to do. Based on the timing it is logical that they got a preview of her plans. If that would not be undermining ODU and the new coach I don't know what is.

Not trying to be argumentative, but I don't understand your point of view. She took another job (bc ODU was not going to extend her), players left. I'm not sure what she is supposed to do about that. Beg them to stay?

I am not taking it that way I enjoy our conversations and at times differing points of view.

I have always been a person who judges a coach based on how they leave the program. KB was not renewed and that was the correct call. She was simple not a very good coach who was in over her head. Obviously a good salesperson because she fooled the administration regarding her coaching acumen. I know Wendy let the program slide, but KB was a far, far worse coach that Wendy was at the end. Other then raising APR scores she totally destroyed the program.

I get that players may transfer when a coach leaves, but practically the whole team? Plus every recruit? That is hardly normal for a coaching change. I am just saying that it is not a huge step to think that KB may have positioned the program she was leaving in an unfavorable light. My thought is good riddance. I predict that coach McCray will get ODU back to an NCAA tournament and to a state where we are relevant again long before KB has success at Wilmington. There is part of me that pities Wilmington's women's program.
