RE: SoCon ESPN3 Deal vs YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
SOCON/ETSU absolutely needs to stay on ESPN3. Not only because of the availability for fans, but the exposure for non-fans and recruits just scrolling through. I've gotten messages from a number of non-ETSU fans who were watching ETSU play just because it was on and they knew I went there. ESPN3 has everything in one place, there's no need to look for content on a variety of sites/pages. You can't expect a non-fan or recruit to search through youtube, facebook, or Twitter for an ETSU game, never happen.

Even though ETSU has to put forward more effort it is far more beneficial to be on the ESPN3 platform than another medium or subscription service despite whatever small compensation they may receive in the short term.
