Nah, theUS isn't a joke. Does it suck to not qualify, yes. Is it the end all be all, absoultely not. Considering clubs aren't obliged to let their players play in Olympic qualifiers and all our good U23s are now on the Senior Team, things like this happen. Mostly true but there is something to be said about certain MLS teams not releasing their players for this tourney. Some teams did some didn't. That needs to be looked at considering that MLS gets a sweetheart deal from USSoccer.
