You're allowed 3 players over the birthdate restriction on the Olympic Squad...though the last time the US played in the Olympics (2008) they only had one, Brian McBride.

Yeah, they expanded to include any individual who wouldve been eligible by the U23 standards for the Olympics last year, so 24 year olds were eligible. Truth be told, if we wanted to get into the Olympics, McKennie, Pulisic, Reyna, Musah, Adams, Dest, Aaronson, Richards, and Robinson wouldve been playing in the Qualifying. I'm not worried about Olympic competition, there are plenty of big countries who don't ever play in the Olympics.

Jason Kreis had some questionable talent identification. There's more than enough talent in the U23 system to beat Honduras.

We have this issue with the senior team, but we haven't played a meaningful game in years so no one notices.
