Funny thing is that they tripled their gate receipts last season playing at Wembley compared to WHL.

Levy released their financials this week and Spurs made a 120 million pound profit last year due to increased gate receipts and player sales. Levy and Poch have insinuated that their will be sizable money(for us) available this summer. We arent talking about Man City money but good amounts for us.

Retaining players, yes. They've locked up pretty much everyone other than Eriksen and Alderweireld(who has a low release clause anyway).

As far as buying players, we tend to buy young players and work them into our system now. So, I wouldnt expect us to spend 75 million on a centerback anytime soon.

This summer, I'd expect us to get a CB to replace Toby, a couple of young midfielders, and a winger.

Thanks for the info. I had no idea Premier League contracts contained release clauses.

Its much more rare than in other leagues but technically we bought Toby from Atletico Madrid and he had one in his contract there. So....basically his agent negotiated it into his new deal with us when he came over.
