RE: OT: Officially The Official Soccer Thread
The USA beat Mexico 1-0 last night and it was an average performance. The first half was terrible, Mexico were much better in possession and the U.S. couldn't pass the ball. Eric Lichaj was garbage and he was dominated by Mexican teenagers from Liga MX, the Championship isn't that good! The second half was better and Tyler Adams scored his first goal.

Kellyn Acosta and Arriola need to move to Europe and Weah needs to go out on loan so he can get some playing time. The US still doesn't have a playmaker, a #10 and haven't had one since Reyna retired in 2006. We need a coach and my choice would be Tata Martino. He is doing a great job with Atlanta United and he has international experience with Argentina, plus he took Paraguay to the Quarterfinals of the 2010 World Cup and the Final of 2011 Copa America.
