There's been talk that this won't end up happening. MLS is supposedly against the plan, and CONCACAF, FIFA, and UEFA all have to sign off on it, none of which has happened yet.

La Liga has announced that it will be Barca vs Girona in Miami. Now, what's odd about this is it's two Catalan teams, with Girona being the most separatist area of Catalunya. To add to this, La Liga has banned the use of speratist flags during the match and will instead ship 40,000 Spanish flags to be handed out during the match. WTH is La Liga thinking? First, sending two Catalan teams, second, trying to ban a flag in another country, and third, adding fuel to the fire by sending Spanish flags to a match with two Catalan teams. This whole thing makes no sense. I really hope others involved veto this match in the US.

I was wondering the same thing about the Catalan teams. Seemed weird. I hadnt heard the flag thing though. So dumb.

Seems a little cynical from La Liga, but maybe I'm looking into it too much. I mean, why send two teams from an area that want independence from you to represent you in a foreign nation? Also, the idea La Liga can enforce some sort of flag ban in the US is silly.
