That's 9 candidates at this point. You've got 2 status quo options (Cordero and Carter) 4 Former players (Solo, Martino, Wynalda, Calagiuri) One lawyer (Gans) and 2 who work at the local levels of soccer (Lapointe, Mota)

Solo will go in there calling for equal pay and get laughed off the stage when the true revenue numbers get published.

There are so many people splitting votes that I have a sad feeling in my heart that we'll just get another Garber/Gulati type in there.

Thankfully this is a 50 percent plus one election. Hopefully whenever some of the fringe guys are eliminated they’ll pool 2nd route votes on a candidate that is tolerable
