Yeah, that was a great year too. Those top two definitely outshine the rest though...and every time I see Gooch's name I catch myself wondering what would've been.

That knee injury was killer.

That was such a terrible stretch...you had all of the momentum from the Confed. Cup run, then in a span of like three weeks, Charlie Davies almost gets killed in a car accident and Gooch's knee turns to dust. Those two guys could've been the staples for our team in 2014, basically filling the two biggest holes we had (Striker to fit a 4-4-2 and CB to support Brooks and Cameron).

That was a terrible stretch however I think back to the 2010 World Cup and think what might have been. I strongly believe had Gooch and Davies been healthy that the US beats Ghana and they would have had a chance of beating Uruguay to advance to the Semifinals.

Oh absolutely, that team could've (and did) played with anyone IMO.

Also, Pulisic is God...
