It's going to be really interesting to see how the League handle the Mane suspension. It was clearly unintentional, but incredibly reckless, however, Ederson brought his head down, and knew what he was getting into coming that far out of the box against a charging player...and Man City will be out their #1 keeper for a long while if that broke his jaw (which I don't know how in the hell it wouldn't have).

What's the rule on his suspension? Our next game is in the UCL, does he miss that and 1 PL game? Or 2 PL games?

Typically suspensions hold to the competition they were given, so it would be two league games. I'm of the same mindset about that play though, I don't believe it was a red, but when an unnatural kick to the head lands it's extremely hard for a referee to make any other decision.

I am much more interested in if the severity of the injury sustained, what team will be affected, and the clarity of the challenge will "force" the League into additional action. Wouldn't be the first time, and definitely won't be the last.

PL rarely goes over the 3 games unless extenuating circumstances are at play. That was such a 50/50 play there is no chance anything less or anything further happens.
