The MLS can't negotiate tv rights until 2021 and has specific negotiating windows in their current contracts. Silva knew that when it was offered. If there was a chance in hell MLS could've accepted, he wouldve never offered.

It's a stupid media stunt, plain and simple.

More than just a media stunt, it's Silva prepping for a lawsuit like the USFL one but against US Soccer. He's talking about pumping money into the other NASL clubs as well.

I seem to recall that USFL lawsuit not getting the desired result they wanted. I predict that will happen here as well.
