US Soccer got caught in a situation where they realized the consequences of not qualifying for a World Cup were so high they had to do something.

The flaw of an American coach has always been the over reliance on throwing MLS Players out there over our lesser European players. Any idiot can name our starting XI or close to it right now, but we've got to quit relying on some of these MLS players to bail us out. The stars can be competitive, but about 3/4 of the league has no chance against most major leagues.

Also, as for Siggy. If Everton's big pocket owners will write a check for 50 million, he's all theirs.

You're not kidding...Morrow and Hedges looked like complete dogshit and Roldan couldn't hold a ball against an island territory the size of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Why isn't Lynden Gooch getting a run out instead of Roldan, who is basically the same form of player only slightly worse in every way?

We REALLY need these young guys over in Europe to grow up quick, or else the lean time between generations is going to be near unwatchable.

Also, why the hell isn't the best RB in our player pool playing at all for our NT? Timmy Chandler was in some publications' Bund XI, yet he can't beat out a has-been right winger or a 5'8" guy who should be a winger?
