So EWU is falling behind the curve in a facilities race to keep up with the Montanas. Why would that bother EWU if everything was going to stay status quo with the Big Sky and FCS?

MAybe because they're behind Montana, Montana State and now Idaho in their FCS conference.

Quote:EWU has been fundraising, but that well seemed to dry up.

Still say the Montanas, Idaho and EWU will join the Dakotas in the Summit and move en masse to FBS when most of the other schools leave. EWU's plans seem to rely on, as of yet, unraised money.

Premise: EWU can't afford to build new FCS-quality facilities.
Conclusion: EWU & the northern Great Plains schools are going FBS.

T Swift says "Okay."
