Does football being a spark for growth really surprise you? Many of us have been projecting this for years. Water under the bridge at this point, but if we moved when ASU had, would we of had similar success? I think probably so.

and to answer your question, no, i dont think we would have had the same success. the program is way stronger now than it was when App moved. in addition, the conference that was available at the time was not nearly as attractive as the one where we have landed.

dont get me wrong, we would have had success - but 8-3 - top 25 - sold out stadium the 2nd year - no - i dont believe that would have been our 1st 2 years.
