Although beset early by his shoulder issues, Jack came in as a soft player, but leaves as a much tougher big man. He was developed in these past few years. Would guess a lot of love/hate with Tony and staff to get Jack to that point, as well as, work on his part. I looked forward next year to seeing Jack continue to improve and have a monster final year, but unfortunately he chose to take a route of his own interest.

We certainly are not a program with perks, but players know that coming in, and there is a reason why most of us proudly value that One Tribe bond and The College for the rest of our lives. There is a lot of good there, things done right, warts and all.

Jack may be getting an opportunity to play at a program with perks, on a bigger stage, and a guaranteed Big Dance ending, but for me at least, he is forfeiting that lifetime-lasting, Tribe Family bond in the process with the way it has transpired. Jack you're not in the 'Burg anymore. There's no place like home....
