Dear Friends,
I agree with what everyone has said about our offense, especially the comment of a "vanilla" offense. Except for the double pass that almost resulted in a touchdown, the majority of the plays were off tackle calls that resulted in minimal gains. Why no reverses? Screen passes? Sweeps? I could have called a better game. If, this is what our offensive coordinator is going to keep calling, we are going to be in for a long season. And if Creighton is okay with this offense, then he is not the guy to bring Eastern out of the depths. The Ken Karcher comment was spot on.
