RE: Unofficial 2017/18 Off Season MBB's Thread
Guys, I'd guess it would be damn near impossible to guess who will apply and whom Murphy will hire.

Remember, a more typical situation is where a HC is new, has a 4 or 5 year contract, and there is job security for both the HC and assistant coaches.

This is not EMU MBB 2017. Murphy will be on the last year of his contract. Who knows how the new AD will feel about him. Talk about uncertainty!!!

Any AC who comes to EMU could be caught in a quagmire next March. Who would give up a secure job for that???

Maybe someone who does NOT NOW have a job because his HC was not retained, but I wouldn't expect a coach to give up a secure job for what could be a 1 year job.

If EMU MBB wins 20+ games next year, the assistant coaches have job security for 2018/19; otherwise, no.
