I heard they were fired. No idea why and if it was Murphy's or someone else's decision. I am shocked to be honest. Wonder why they were let go and not let's say Mondro? It seemed to me that Brown and Murphy were inseparable. Very strange situation, I would love to find out what actually happened.

Not a fan of this move to be honest and I do not see any assistant coming in and out of nowhere changing Murphy's whole coaching philosophy.

This. We can be hopeful that he brings someone in with an offensive mind that can be tailored to the talent we have, but I'm not very optimistic.

At this rate, the players will have to save Murphy's butt, because I can't see us doing anything other than a 2-3 zone and a middle school offense. We'll see if the newcomers, in addition to veterans like Bond and Thompson, can get us out of the mediocrity.
