I heard they were fired. No idea why and if it was Murphy's or someone else's decision. I am shocked to be honest. Wonder why they were let go and not let's say Mondro? It seemed to me that Brown and Murphy were inseparable. Very strange situation, I would love to find out what actually happened.

I am just wondering what happened. Not sure if they got fired or left themselves. I talked to some folks close to the team and not one person would say they got fired. Up to this point all I have heard is "it was time to make changes" and "it is a business". So yeah, not a lot of people will admit to being fired but at this point it might be safe to say that they were let go. Not sure who made the final decision but does it really matter? Not a fan of this move to be honest and I do not see any assistant coming in and out of nowhere changing Murphy's whole coaching philosophy.

Sounds like they were fired. In the professional world the difference between being fired and resigning isn't much, sometimes semantics.
