Wichita State to the American
Missouri State and Illinois State to the Sun Belt
Northern Iowa and Drake to the Summit

The MVC has always reinvented itself. It once included most of the Big 8. Then it once included most of what became the original CUSA in 1996. It even included North Texas and New Mexico St.

But it reinvents itself as something less than what it was. The past 30 years has basically been a downward trend and that will continue.

MSU, ISU and UNI will take any offer to join an FBS conference should they come. I know right now that doesn't seem likely with the way things are set up. I don't see any of them leaving for another basketball conference.

The MVC will be a bus league in the near future. It mostly is now anyway.

ISU will not join the Sunbelt. They previouslt turned down the opportunity to talk with them a few years ago.
