Texas-Arlington was a dream of Wichita St, not the MVC.

I get **** in another thread for why I thought Wichita might not find leaving that great an option, but this is the sort of substance to leave, for better or worse. Wichita seems like the kind of program that knows what it and the conference needs to remain a competitive and respectable basketball conference...MVC pretty much says "pass."

UTA would be a great add for the MVC. Heck, getting further south and west would be good for the conference, given the constriction in the midwest and heartland.

How did Wichita take Loyola's invitation? Yes, the conference got into Chicago...did Loyola help with a contributing athletic department, however?
