There's a mixed bag of reasons Tiger fans don't like what they see with no big wins or post season play this year and 3-star recruits coming in next year. One of them is recent experience winning big games and playing in the post season. We don't have any.

We haven't beaten an AP Top 25 team or gone to post season play in three years. The last time we did, we had two 5-star players and six 4-stars on the team (before all the transfers) and went 5 for 11 vs the Top 25. So naturally, those kinds of things stick in your mind -- lots of stars are needed for big wins and post season invitations.

TTU went 3 of 11 vs the Top 25 last year and went dancing. They may have had a 4-star, I'm not sure. The two previous years, Tubby's first two there, didn't look so good. It took that long to see results. But that's someone else's recent history, and not everybody is capable of applying that situation to ours, even though we're talking about the same coach and staff.
