On the surface, that sounds right to us. Like it fits. But we're paying a top 25 salary, and we're investing in the new hoops facility - prioritized over the IPF. So I'm not sure that is accurate.

I think it was safe from a NCAA and B12 perspective, while we were focusing on that. And he is a proven winner with a NC ring. Finally, he's the anti-Pastner. Checked a lot of the boxes at the time.

May have underestimated the restlessness of fans, and the state of recruiting in this modern era. We will see.
