No excuse...he does not need one. The point is you are comparing two politicians and traded company to a private citizen that does business all over the world and with 100s of people in this country.

So if you would release your tax return...with all of Trumps business, now yours. You would lose a ton of that business. No one wants what we seen since this election...

Knowing full well what that would unleash....doesn't matter if they all show you paid 38 million in taxes each year. It would not matter. If you're going to be president, in the words of Nixon, the public should have a right to know that their president is not a crook. Not only should he have released all this tax returns, but he should have fully divested from all his business and not just signed them over to his son.

If you want to be president, you should have to do this. I realize it's not the law, but it should be IMHO.

In fact, it's actually MORE important for a businessman to divest and release his tax returns. Especially one like Trump who does business with countries all over the world. Don't you feel it's important to guarantee beyond all doubt that he is not beholden to any foreign governments over the USA? What will Trump do when he has to make a decision that would benefit the USA and perhaps hurt his family business? I'd hate to be left with just having to hope he'd do what was in the best interest of the USA, wouldn't you? And to me, this goes above party lines and political affiliations. For cripes sake, we made Jimmy Carter sell his tiny peanut farm!

if he breaks a law then we need to know and if pulling in his tax returns is the way to show it. The government has legal channels to do just that.
