Why? I didn't trust Pastner and you didn't either.
Tubby has to earn the trust of the fan base and the way the last 1/4 of the season went he lost his gold card status.
I don't care what he did 15-20 years ago. I care what he's done at Memphis.
(a) By his own admission did not provide an adequate off season strength and conditioning program for what he KNEW would be a short roster.
(b) Did not bust his ass recruiting to add depth to what he KNEW would be a short roster
© Piled up wins against ****** competition early in the season by over playing his core 4 players to artificially inflate the W-L record.
(d) (a) - © above led to a late season tailspin which, according to the last 10-11 years of data seems to be a hallmark of Tubby's teams.
(e) He completely and totally lost this team at the end of the year. They quit on him and on themselves.
(f) Ended the year with two historic losses the likes of which haven't been seen in Tiger basketball since 1935; over 80 years ago.
Now, tell me again why I should blindly trust Tubby,
