I believe that a lot of that revenue was from BE exit fees and a huge student subsidy.

UCONN caught my eye as well. That's close to where Louisville was in the BE. Put them in the ACC & give them the same bump Louisville got & they could be top 4 or 5.

Terry, Cincinnati & USF are getting the same BE exit fees that UCONN is getting. So unless they are bringing in $30-$40 million on subsidies then I don't think that's right.

This is the article I was referring to:

"The University of Connecticut spent $27.2 million last year subsidizing its sports teams and programs – the third highest in the nation among public schools with Division 1 sports teams. Only Rutgers University and James Madison University subsidized athletics more, a review released Monday by the Chronicle of Higher Education found.

USA Today routinely ranks UConn's subsidies among the highest in the nation."

Let me ask this, how much more is UCONN subsidizing compared to their peers? Compared to Cincinnati & USF? $30-$40 million more?

Hell if I know...or care. All I know is that a big chunk of that UConn athletic budget is from exit fees/subsidies, which is not sustainable long term nor admirable.
