They finished the season winning 4 of their last 15 games.(lost to good teams though) BUT, they have a superstar who will be great for TV ! More viewers = MONEY.

I initially thought Oklahoma was about money, but the more I think about it, how much of a ratings bump are they going to get from one game at noon on a weekday? I think it is all about their crazy litigious mindset that makes them want to have a legally defensible method to prove how fair it is, and that is just par for the course in the current mindset around academia.
