And when work "families" become intertwined with real families, alarm bells should go off in AD's heads.

Perfect example: in 2000 UNC went after some very high profile, "family" names including Roy Williams, George Karl, Larry Brown and Eddie Fogler. All refused or didn't work out for some reason. UNC wound up with Matt Doherty. If somebody at Kansas hadn't PO'd Williams he might still be there.

Indiana is another example. They haven't been the same since Knight left.

You could also through in the Sidney Lowe hire as well. That certainly wasn't a good look for State.
