Either way, this period has been great for UC, Nippert, Cincy and FCC - it couldn't have gone much better thus far.

Can't help but fear that the FCC experience has peaked (in it's first 2 seasons, I know!), and if they do join MLS it will eventually be a flop....Maybe it's just the Cincinnati sports' fan in me, and I'm definitely not suggesting that FCC pursuing MLS is a mistake...I just can't help but think what's happened the last two summers at Nippert has been lightning in a bottle, and will be almost impossible to re-create short of fielding a serious title contender every year.

While I'm not fearing a flop, I wondered like you about peaking too early. We are so starved for any type of sporting good news that we're getting very excited about something most don't give a passing glance.

I'm more concerned about the prospects of getting an MLS team here. There are bigger, faster growing markets, and that will trump FCC's efforts.

My dream is to rebrand the Crew and steal them from Columbus.
