Oh my! I hope some Crew fans show up for the game at Nippert, maybe some fights will break out!

Amazing seeing this list and seeing the teams that draw the best(by significant margins for top 2) play in non soccer specific stadiums, not manufactured MLS stadiums.. I still simply don't understand why not having an MLS only stadium should/would be a non starter..

EPL has a team who is contracted to share their stadium with the NFL for a decade, and MLS over here thinks they should build soccer only stadiums in markets where significant savings on facilities at the beginnings of existence in some cases would reap immense financial benefits for the upstart teams. Nippert is the perfect size and setup for this, and with Atlanta, Seattle, NYCFC etc there is plenty of success for teams to play in non soccer specific facilities... That $200-$300 million saved could be used to benefit a team like FCC to really bring in top talent and a few higher profile designated players. Then 10-15 years down the road the groundwork has been laid and a 30-35k seat stadium can be built with the profits, I for one think the MLS is handcuffing teams with the immense upfront investment that, in cases like Nippert, are not essential.
