RE: North Dakota to Summit League and MVFC
Losing the two Indiana schools would be a game changer, and in the long run a good thing. At that point the Dak 4 own the conference. One of SCSU and Minnesota State would be a lock to move up, my guess would be Mankato, but SCSU would be more willing to drop football to do it.

SDSU
UND
NDSU
USD
Minnesota State
Omaha
ORU
Denver
Western Illinois

At that point# 10 becomes complicated. Northern Colorado is a dumpster fire, Eastern Illinois is the little brother to Western, and not in a good way. The perfect fit would be Little Rock, if they could pried away from the Sun belt. If you could then dump Western Illinois, and get UMKC serious about basketball by building a new arena and then actually start up a baseball program like they were supposed to, you would have a hell of a league. Hockey folks could also have "Summit League" holiday tournament in Denver where the four hockey schools square off a Summit Trophy. It would only add to the rivalry aspect and help keep Denver included.
