Yea, any chances of an FBS WAC needed some (if not all) of the Dakota schools IMHO. I'd be very shocked if anything moves forward now. The Montana schools don't have the balls to move up. The Idaho president has zero vision. Without a core of Idaho/Dakotas I doubt the FBS league would get off the ground.

I don't even know if the WAC could pull in enough schools for an FCS league.

If the WAC can pull in UC-San Diego and either keep or replace Chicago St, they would have ten members. However I have doubts about CSU and New Mexico St will bail for the first FBS conference that takes them.

Of course this is just my opinion, I could be wrong.
