RE: Drexel Women's Basketball 2016-17
Dragons lose a heartbreaker tonight, 48-45 to Elon at home. Drexel had a poor shooting night, but a lot of that had to do with Elon's really tight perimeter defense. They tried to adjust to Elon's defense, but finding some open lanes, but there were too many missed layups, and way too many turnovers.

It actually counts right now as a top 50 loss for Drexel, but their RPI drops out of the top 50 from 44 down to 65. Elon's RPI jumps up to 24. Drexel heads up to Northeastern on Sunday. NU was one of the weaker teams in the CAA out of conference this year, but they now have a late lead on Towson and have a shot to go 2-0.
