From my understanding, Purcell Pavilion was completely renovated in 2009. It may not have a high capacity, but the bowl was redone very well from an aesthetic viewpoint. One of the nicer venues in the ACC, in my opinion. I hope the upcoming renovation of Cassell Coliseum turns out half as nice as this:

It is still in an old building built in 1968. Yes, the renovations were nice but a new arena and a separate practice facility would be better.

It is not like ND is hurting for money, but spend less on basketball (a poor step sister to football) than many places.
