It's actually the worst loss in school history. Pitt's media guide has it wrong.

The program is a mess and the players have quit. Pitt will be in the ACC cellar for a while.

Interesting that Pitt's own media guide has incorrect records. Certain teams do not match up well, and UofL is certainly Pitt's kryptonite, just as UVA owns UofL and Notre Dame. However, Pitt recently is being blown out by nearly everyone. What happened?

Certainly Stallings has a different offensive/defensive approach than Jamie. Did Jamie slack on recruiting however? I ask because the roster is his and it is lacking. While Stallings has called out the Senior's lack of leadership, I can't imagine where Pitt will have production next year when 4 starters and 70% of scoring graduates. Cameron Johnson, Ryan Luther, and ....? Pitt appears to be a likely preseason ACC media pick to finish last next year unless they have a killer incoming class.

I was wrong. The 93 point loss in 1906 is apparently accurate. There was some confusion with prior inaccuracies in how it was listed but it is apparently true which is amazing for that era of basketball. Here's the story that made the Pittsburgh newspaper as this has been researched.
