I would imagine that his contract won't be renewed for extension by the new AD this year (hopefully), making him work off a 3-year deal next season. that will save us around $350k if he gets the axe next year at least.

Doesn't that contravene state law? Whoever McGillis' successor is needs to seek a legal opinion about it.
