Holy crap - they finally pulled a deal off. Logan Forsythe will be Dodgers' new 2B.

Phew - I was worried about some of the 2B names floating around out there as alternates to Dozier, as well as some of the players the Dodgers might have to throw in to get a deal done. DeLeon for Forsythe straight up seems like a decent deal - trading potential for proven value is ok by me. Dodgers just got better.

ETA: I know I'm just talking to myself in here, but anywho... Dodgers 2017 payroll, including dead money and minor leaguers, is about $215MM now. The new luxury tax surcharges aren't fully implemented this year but, even if they were, the Dodgers look like they would have easily avoided the 45% surcharge for payroll over $235MM. Next year, with more payroll coming off the books, I'd guess they'll be below $200MM. Cheap!
