They didn't say one thing about getting more money if they don't expand. Not Boren or Bowlsby. I think it is a hoax. All they said in the press conference is that the current schools voted "no" on expansion regardless of the names mentioned. Now, they joked at the end regarding any current P5 member inquiring about membership but....I think they laughed a little too hard about that.

Bottom line is this IMO, as long as the SEC champ that doesn't make the playoffs would rather face the Champion of the Big12, then the Big 12 will exist in its current form. Not one thing wrong with that.
